Earlier today, 20th Century Fox released thefirstX-Men: Apocalypsetrailer, and it was no mere announcement. Even though the film is still over six months away, they packed plenty of reveals into 150 seconds including full-on looks at Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), Archangel (Ben Hardy), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), and plenty of other new faces to theX-Menfranchise. We also get our first official look at a bald Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and damn does he cut a striking figure.

Here’s the official synopsis:
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.
