‘Thor: Ragnarok’: Will Hulk Make an Appearance?
Thor: Ragnarokwill answer some questions that Thor was left with inAvengers: Age of Ultron, but that won’t be until 2017, and it looks like he might be joined by another Avenger. Early in the week a rumor was going around thatMark Ruffalowould make an appearance as The Hulk inThor: Ragnarok, and if the rumor got you excited you will be happy to know that it was confirmed that Ruffalo is indeedin negotiations to appear in the film. The report also added thatJamie AlexanderandTom Hiddlestonwill be reprising their roles in the new film.
‘X-Men’ TV Series ‘Hellfire’ in the Works at Fox
Fox is getting into the superhero TV show game bydeveloping anX-MenTV seriestentatively titledHellfire. The show will be based on The Hellfire Club, a society of millionaires who seek to use their power to manipulate world events, and on occasion have run-ins with The X-Men. The series will center on a young agent who discovers a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities who is organizing the club to take over the world.
‘Legion’ Pilot Headed to FX
Another Marvel property will be getting the small screen treatment with the projectLegionheading to FX. TheLegionpilot will introduce us to the story of David Haller (Professor X’s mutant son in the Marvel mythos), a troubled young man who is a lot more than he appears to be.Noah Hawley(FargoTV series creator) is in charge of writing the pilot and will executive produce alongsideLauren Shuler Donner,Bryan Singer,Simon Kinberg,Jeph Loeb,Jim Chory, andJohn Cameron.
‘Black Panther’ Targeting Director?
Marvel is still on the hunt to fill the directing chair forBlack Panther, sinceAva DuVernaypassed on the job a while back and Marvel choiceF. Gary Graywill fulfill directing duties forFurious 8. Still, Marvel seems to have eyes on another possible candidate. Reportedly, Marvel ispursuingCreeddirectorRyan Cooglerto helmBlack Panther, but no confirmations have been made on where negotiations stand.
‘Doctor Strange’: Rachel McAdams’ Role Revealed?
Doctor Strangehas done a pretty good job on assembling a fine group of actors for their ensemble, andRachel McAdamsis one of those actors. Among those talented names, McAdams’ is the one missing a character attached to it, but the assumption was that she would play the part of Stephen Strange’s love interest. However, a rumor has surfaced thatMcAdams will not be playing a love interestto Doctor Strange, and that she will be playing the role of Christine Palmer, a surgical nurse who appeared in Marvel’sNight Nurse.
