In true Swift style, the star released a deluxe version of the album calledThe Anthology edition, released just two hours after the standard edition. The album came with additional songs totaling a whopping 31 tracks. One of the songs on the Anthropology album is “The Prophecy”. Of course,Swift is well known for writing songs about her love life and other personal experiences, but with “The Prophecy”, she takes it a step further. The four-minute-plus ballad concerns Swift submitting a plea to a supreme being, wishing her luck in love would change for the better. There are clear nods to Christianity in her lyrics, such as the reference to biblical figures, praying, and retribution.
