[Update: Universal has pulled the trailer from YouTube, so we’ve swapped it out with the latest TV spot instead.]

When it comes toWarcraft, the upcoming adaptation of the hugely popular computer game, I’m choosing to look more at the talent involved than at the not-so-great history of video-game adaptations, which seems to be gearing up for a second wave with this andAssassin’s Creedand a few more that escape me at the moment. This will beDuncan Jones' third film, and his first two works,MoonandSource Code, stand as two of the more inventive, cohesive, and quietly stylish science fiction films of the last decade. He’s directing a cast that includesDominic Cooper,Ben Foster,Paula Patton,Toby Kebbell,Robert Kazinsky, and the greatClancy Brown, all of whom have proven themselves to be invaluable in a variety of supporting roles; Brown recently appeared inDaredevilSeason 2, and Cooper will soon be seen as the titular character in AMC’sPreacher.

We’ll see what’s what come June 10th, when the movie sees release in theaters nationwide.
