The latest sixth scale figure fromSideshowand Asmus Collectible Toys is Deadite Ash. The evil version ofBruce Campbell’s popular scream king, Ash Williams, comes with an alternate creepy head, multiple interchangeable hands, a severed hand giving the middle finger, an axe, and a bandaged stub hand accessory. This killer piece also comes with loose pages from the iconic demonic book, the Necronomicon, and a figure stand. Deadite Ash will be $210 USD.
A Groovy Figure for a Horror King
When it comes to male performances in horror, there are none as iconic as Campbell’s Ash William portrayal. The actor played this bumbling heartthrob for three films and a cult TV show,Ash vs. Evil Dead, in the 2010s. Because of that, there has been a ton of Ash merchandise in the last four decades. This has includedFunko Pops, action figures from NECA, and deadly newphysical media editionsof the films.Sideshow also made artwork forEvil Dead IIin the past alongside Ash statues forThe Evil DeadandArmy of Darkness.
Evil Dead IIitself was a major turning point for the franchise.WhileThe Evil Deadwas a straight-forward, campy backwoods horror romp, its sequel added a heavy dose of slapstick comedy to it.
