After weeks of dates and two crucial family meet-and-greets,the farmers made their ultimate picks, leaving some participants and audience members stunned.After whittling down to two finalists each, Farmer Matt, Farmer Jay, Farmer John, and Farmer Colton made a decision about who they hoped to pursue a future with.
Not everyone had an easy journey to the end. Farmer Jay spent much of his final time being grilled byKarina Sabol’s father, whose sole mission was to ensure he would make money and pursue a prosperous path. Perhaps the interrogation was a bit too much as he decided that Karina was not going to be the one for him. That left Washington nativeGrace Clark, with whom he felt he had a stronger connection. But, he was still fearful of a successful partnership as she has spent most of her life living near her family. He ultimately told her he definitely wanted to pursue a relationship with her after the show. Rather than a ring,Farmer Jay surprised Grace with a puppy.In the end, I think the deeper connection with Grace was ultimately what swayed Farmer Jay away from Karina in the end. Even though Karina’s background similiarly alligned with Farmer Jay, he knew that that emotional connection, based around faith, was going to win out in the end.
A big part of ending up with one of these men is the potential for the women to have to change their entire lives. Like moving to the farm to be with their farmer.Zoe Greenshared with Farmer Colton’s parents that she would “definitely be willing” to move to the farm, as her career aspirations could be done anywhere. Not a very convincing reason, but Farmer Colton truly adored her, despite claiming he didn’t want to pull her away from her dreams. But in the end, her dream was him. Flexibility is all it took. He dismissedKeeley Goldberg, noting that because of his son, he was not willing to move her into his world. He told her that Zoe was on the same track as him, which included not wanting to rush things and move in immediately. Well, then why did you come on this show? He told Zoe thathe was open to making something work with her, and she accepted his offer. No puppy for Zoe, just a kiss. Colton was very indecisive, and thus, his ultimate decision could have been one that I think he would flip on any given day.Given her most recent post honoring the finale, the cryptic post means she might be single. And I’m completely not surprised. Farmer Colton needed to make a decision for show’s sake.

One ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Contestant Left Rightly Pissed
For Farmer John, he was confident that he would make the right decision. During his final meet and greet, he toldClaire Dirette’s mom his intention of starting a “traditional” family where her daughter would be a stay-at-home mom. She didn’t imagine her daughter being able to have that type of life, but she was still not opposed to the pairing as she saw a future for them. Farmer John letLily Ayresgo with little fanfare, just tears. Noting that Claire was not going to be working on the farm alongside him,he was still eager to tell her that she was “the one.“She accepted his proposal, which included the scarf she had previously crocheted for him to drop from above. She then gifted him a matching hat. It was a sweet moment. Farmer John and Claire got along at a very surface level, and I think that was why he picked her in the end.Things seem to be going well for the couple, even with some life adjustments.
Some romantic pairs can’t be too similar, as they might not work out in the end. There has to be a balance. For Farmer Matt’s parents,Chelsi Daviswas different from their son thanks to her “temperament.” Most of the family meet-and-greets for Farmer Matt and Chelsi were based around “liking” their prospects as a couple, but was that going to be enough in the end? After lettingJordyn Belcherdown, whom he had previously assured they were more than friends, she truly believed he was joking.She pushed back on himas she gave him an easy out, but felt as if he led her on.All he could say was that he would be “praying” for her as she left pissed.Now, it was time to give Chelsi the good news. Well, good news if you weren’t expecting a full-out proposal. He told her, “I’m not gonna ask you to marry me today, but…you better someday, because I’m never dating anyone else again.” I think Farmer Matt and Chelsi were the better match in the end, but Jordyn had every right to blow up. Honesty is key, and if she felt he was dishonest, their love would not have worked. It’s safe to say, though,Chelsi is truly the one for Farmer Matt, and we love that for him. They decided to leave together and date. So four happy farmers, four happy women. One season complete.
