What Do The Actors Say About ‘Echo Valley’?
“This is a story about relationships,”Moore told Vanity Fair, callingEcho Valleya film that explores the gut-wrenching choices people make for family. “What kind of decisions do you make? How far will you go?” Pearce praised her ability to portray “grit and resolve” with complexity: “She can play that sort of fragility with her character… but Julianne’s a very strong personality. You totally buy that.”
As Claire, a volatile addict with a tangled past, Sweeney is trying to capture the internal chaos and manipulation of addiction. “I’ve had a lot of family members deal with addiction and struggle with similar issues,” Sweeney said. “There’s a manipulation underneath a lot of it. But when there was love in the air in the room, you truly still felt it.”
