“Castaways,” are sent to live on the island in tribes. At the end of each episode, one tribe is forced to vote out one of its members until there are enough players left, and the tribes merge, with three remaining players remaining. The script gets flipped, as these final players have to plead their case to those they’ve previously been a part of voting out, convincing these scorned contestants that they deserve to win the grand prize. Which Contestants Remain in ‘Survivor 46’?
Maria Shrime Gonzales
Maria Shrime Gonzalesis a parent coach living in Dallas, Texas. Maria says she enjoys traveling and believes she is fiercely loyal. The forty-eight-year-old mother of three says she has an obsession with untying knots.
Throughout her journey onSurvivor, Maria has been closest to Ben, and the two have worked together to bring down some serious competitors. So far, Maria has won three immunity challenges, a huge feat for any contestant on the show.

Ben Katzman
Miami, Florida’sBen Katzmanis a musician who loves “chilling hard at the beach,” so perhaps being stranded on an island in Fiji is the perfect place for the thirty-one-year-old. He credits himself for being able to read a room, and this skill is very helpful in the game ofSurvivor.
The instantly lovable Ben is best known for his social skills. Friends with just about everyone in Season 46, Ben has made it to the final five due to these strong interpersonal relationships and by being on the right side of the vote for most tribal councils.

Kenzie Petty
Salon ownerKenzie Pettysays she is very resilient, and the proof is in her new small business surviving the COVID-19 pandemic. A lover of the game Catan, twenty-nine-year-old Kenzie prides herself on her positivity, a trait that is definitely needed on a show likeSurvivor. Kenzie lists jigsaw puzzles as one of her favorite hobbies, a common addition to manySurvivorchallenges.
Initially on a losing streak, Kenzie powered through to become one of the strongest players of Season 46. The only remaining member of the Yanu tribe, Kenzie has never won an individual immunity challenge, meaning she’s made it this far by her social skills and ability to strategize.

Charlie Davis
Boston, Massachusetts, residentCharlie Davisis a law student who loves board games. Often onSurvivor, contestants will hide the fact that they work in or study law, as it can be a sign that they are good at playing both sides.
Charlie has been a joy to watch onSurvivor, as he is able to be a super fan without getting lost in the excitement of being a castaway on his favorite show. Charlie is a great strategist, and has won several immunity challenges against strong players likeHunter McKnight.

Liz Wilcox
Thirty-five-year-oldLiz Wilcoxis a marketing strategist living in Orlando, Florida. As much as Liz loves being a “fun seeker,” she says she is most proud of her self-confidence and the belief she has in herself.
Liz has had an emotional ride on herSurvivorjourney, and has openly stated many times that her allergies to coconut have left her starving on most days she’s been in Fiji.Survivorholds a special place in Liz’s heart, as it’s the show she watches with her daughter as a way to bond.

Which Contestants Were Voted off of ‘Survivor 46’?
Q Burdette
Real estate agentQ Burdettelives in Memphis, Tennessee, and loves being a risk-taker. The first person in his family to graduate college, Q says one of his hobbies is fishing, a talent that makes someone a favorite in their tribe for being able to provide food.
Q was a controversial contestant on Season 46, telling contestants to vote him off during a tribal council, and then not even using his vote on himself. Q then went on to do a complete turn around, fighting to stay in the game and confusing his fellow players as to his true intentions.
Venus Vafa
Venus Vafabelieves that she has a keen ability for seeing through people’s facades,a trait that is incredibly valuable inSurvivor. The twenty-four-year-old data analyst says she has a tough exterior, but when she feels she can get along with someone, she really takes them under her wing.
Venus had a hard time working with her fellow castaways, often rubbing people the wrong way for being too intense about who she wanted out of the game. However, Venus was a fighter from the moment she stepped on the beach to the moment she was voted out of the game, never giving up even when facing pushback from her fellow castaways.
Tiffany Nicole Ervin
Thirty-three-year-oldTiffany Nicole Ervinis an artist who loves painting and photography. Tiffany says she loves playing the lottery and considers herself a big risk-taker.
Tiffany was another member of the Yanu tribe that felt the effects of their early-on losing streak. Tiffany was able to make it through this rough patch, coming out on the other side to prove herself a fierce competitor.
Hunter McKnight
Twenty-eight-year-oldHunter McKnightsays he is competitive and can often times be arrogant, a trait that isn’t really tolerated in the game ofSurvivor. A science teacher, Hunter graduated from college in three-and-a-half years and was valedictorian in his high school. In his free time, Hunter likes to build his ownSurvivorchallenges.
One of the front-runners, it’s a surprise that Hunter isn’t one of the final five. Known for his home-madeSurvivorreplica puzzles, Hunter was an incredible athlete and strategist, climbing up a tree for a fun game of hide-n'-seek between contestants.Eliminated with an immunity idol in his pocket, Hunter sadly didn’t make it to the finale.
Tevin Davis
Tevin Davisis an actor living in Richmond, Virginia. Having been a first-generation college student, twenty-four-year-old Tevin is proud of all his work to put himself through school and succeed in his studies. Considering himself a country boy, Tevin enjoys going to the beach, a hobby that hopefully won’t be ruined for him after his time onSurvivor.
A bubbly personality on the Fijian beach, Tevin was blindsided by his fellow contestants. Eliminated in the same tribal that another player asked to be voted out, Tevin was called the biggest threat, a big compliment for anySurvivorplayer.
Soda Thompson
Twenty-seven-year-old special education teacherSoda Thompsonresides in New Jersey. Soda says she is “deathly afraid” of butterflies, which may make for an interesting time on an island where they are much more intense insects than butterflies. Proud of the life she’s built for herself, Soda loves doing crafts.
Another blindsided contestant was Soda, although it was controversial when Venus took credit for a move Tevin felt was his. The first member of the jury,the drama continued for Sodaupon her exit from the island.
Tim Spicer
Thirty-one-year-oldTim Spiceris a college coach living in Atlanta, Georgia. Tim considers himself a good listener and is proud to be a homeowner who is married to the love of his life.
While Tim seemed like he’d be at the end of the season, his fellow tribe members thought so, too, voting him out early in the game. It was getting on Q’s bad side that ultimately got Tim voted out of the game.
Moriah Gaynor
San Diego, California residentMoriah Gaynoris a program coordinator who loves playingDungeons & Dragons. The twenty-eight-year-old says she often second-guesses herself but is proud of her “go-getter” attitude.
Moriah had a rough time after being left out of a big vote. Later, Tim and Ben threw out Moriah as the first name to be voted out at the next tribal council.
Jamila “Jem” Hussain-Adams
Thirty-two-year-oldJem Hussain-Adamshails from Chicago, Illinois, and works as an international brand manager. Originally from Guyana, Jem says that moving to the United States by herself has been the biggest accomplishment of her life so far.
Jem was one of the contestants this season to go home with an immunity idol after attempting to trick her fellow contestants into thinking it hadn’t been found. This didn’t go well for Jem, as her tribemates didn’t trust her when she said she wasn’t the one to move the coveted idol.
Bhanu Gopal
Currently living in Massachusetts, forty-one-year-oldBhanu Gopalis originally from India. He has a love for swimming and yoga.
Bhanu had a tough run onSurvivor, and his emotional game playing made things tough on his tribemates. Bhanu seemed at peace with his tribe voting him out when they did, happy to have been a part of a show that means so much to him.
Randen Montalvo
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, aerospace technicianRandon Montalvonow lives in Orlando, Florida. Randen is also a lover of running, endurance marathons, and extreme sports.
The only contestantto leave due to an injuryin Season 46, Randen was unfortunately pulled from the game after pain and numbness in his arm was cause for concern. Fortunately, the discomfort ended up being caused by a pinched nerve and Randen was okay after leaving the island.
Jessica “Jess” Chong
Software engineerJess Chonglives in San Francisco, California and enjoys biking around the city with her husband and making her own clothes. A twin, the thirty-seven-year-old Jess admirespreviousSurvivorplayer Maryanne Oketch, and hopes to play the game like her.
Jess was voted out by her tribe because of her inability to perform well in physical challenges. Being able to win immunity is crucial throughout one’s time onSurvivor, and it becomes a detriment to any team with a weaker link, as they then have to go to tribal council and vote out one of their own.
David “Jelinsky” Jelinsky
Las Vegas, Nevada residentDavid Jelinskysays he’s aware that he likes to win an argument but believes he’s matured over the years and can handle his hot-headed attitude. A slot machine salesman, twenty-two-year-old David says he grew up as a theater kid and danced in a professional ballroom as a child.
Jelinsky was fun to watch for the one episode he was on the show, and even became the center of some loving jests from his fellow contestants and host Jeff Probst after he mistook the word “several” for meaning “seven.” This led to Episode 7 of Season 46 to be deemed “Episode Several.”
A reality show where a group of contestants are stranded in a remote location with little more than the clothes on their back. The lone survivor of this contest takes home a million dollars.
