The CW hit showLegends of Tomorrowhas always been the “little engine that could” among the Arrowverse shows, overcoming a jumbled (OK, crappy) Season 1 to become arguably the best DC TV property going. The decision to ditch the ultra-serious themes of Season 1 and lean into the wackier comedic parts of the show has proven to be a winning strategy. It’s become a self-aware, meta madhouse, sort of like a PG-13 TV version ofDeadpool....

Directed byCraig Gillespieand based on unbelievable true events, the darkly comedicI, Tonyatells the story of American figure skater Tonya Harding (Margot Robbie, in a truly stand-out performance and one of the best of 2017), who went from being the first American woman to complete a triple axel in competition to being a part of one of the most sensational and infamous scandals in sports history. Harding’s career as a skater was as challenging as her home life, and even though she had the talent of a top athlete, she tragically fell short of reaching her dreams....

Tales from the Loopisnot your average sci-fi TV series. Masterpiece on PBS is inviting fans of the legendary author,Jane Austen, to open up the book and take a look at what’s inside, with the arrival of a fresh batch of photos from the network’s upcoming series,Miss Austen. Along with a handful of images that will transport viewers back to the days of tophats and bonnets, the show has also unveiled its release date. While it’s still a bit of a ways off, eager fans can expect to check out the four-part production when it arrives on June 19, 2025, perfectly welcoming spring with a lovely period drama that will tackle the mystery of Jane’s sister,Cassandra Austen, burning her notorious letters, bringing a delightful new tale to the small screen about the woman who has long captivated readers and dreamers alike....

Since there is buzz surrounding the upcoming release ofDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,it might be time to discuss one of Marvel’s projects that’s still in prduction.Secret Invasionwas a comic book written byBrian Michael Bendisin 2008 which tells the story of how Skrulls have infiltrated the ranks of Earth’s politicians and heroes. Skrulls are an alien race which have popped up periodically throughout theMCU, most notably inCaptain Marvel. Disney has announced that they will be releasing a miniseries surrounding the events in theSecret Invasioncomic books....

Fans have been divided since rumors surfaced that directorPeter Jacksonwas being courted by Amazon to be involved in theirLord of the Ringsseries, deciding between that and helming a DC film,it was said. Some weren’t so sure they wanted Jackson involved in Amazon’sbillion-dollaradaptation, wanting to see a new vision, while others were desperate to keep him involved with all modern iterations of Tolkien’s work.
