According to The Wrap, Sony is moving forward on its five-film plan for a joint film franchisebased on the Valiant comic booksHarbingerandBloodshot; with the movies reportedly leading to culminate in aHarbinger Warscrossover event film.Harbingerfollows a teenage runaway Peter Stanchek who has massive telekinetic powers. The second title,Bloodshot,is about a mortally wounded soldier resurrected with cutting-edge nanotechnology and charged with rounding up “harbingers” like Stanchek. No release dates have been set.
According to Variety,Daisy RidleyandElizabeth Debickihave joined the cast ofSony’s live-action/animated hybridPeter Rabbit, that already hasRose ByrneandJames Cordenattached to star. The film will be directed byWill Gluckfrom a screenplay byRob Lieber, and will be made at Animal Logic, the Sydney-based animation and visual effects production studio behind theThe Lego Movie.Production is due to commence in January 2017, and is set for worldwide release in April of 2018.
OriginalHalloweendirectorJohn Carpentertook part in a Q & A with some film students back in April, with the video only now hitting the internet. In the chat,Carpenter addressed the comments made byRob Zombiefrom a 2010 TV documentary calledHalloween: The Inside Story. In it, Carpenter reiterated that he told Zombie to makethe remake “your own” and “don’t worry about me.” He then went on to blast him calling him a piece of sh*t who lied about it all. Carpenter went on to say Zombie took away the mystique of the story by explaining too much about the Michael Myers.

Hello collider love the show. I know I’m gonna get a lot of heat for this but am I the only one tired of seeing aStan Leecameo in every single marvel movie? Don’t get me wrong he’s the godfather of all things comics and comics wouldn’t be what they are today without him but why have him cameo in every one? The first couple of times it was cool but after that don’t you think it got old? Keep up the great work and don’t hate me :-)!!
