‘Mission: Impossible — Final Reckoning’ Passes Jason Statham’s Highest-Rated Movie at the All-Time Box Office in 10 Days

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoningrecently wrapped up its second weekend in theaters, and the film claimed another slew of victims after grossing $27 million. At the time of writing,Mission: Impossible 8has earned $122 million domestically and $231 million in international markets for a cumulative haul of $353 million.Tom Cruise’s latest action epic has now out-grossedSpy, the highest-rated movie ofJason Statham’s career, by every metric.The Final Reckoningjust recently passedSpy’s $110 million at the domestic box office, but it had no trouble overtaking the film’s $123 million international total or $233 million global total much earlier.Spyearned a“certified fresh”95% from critics onRotten Tomatoes, and the audience-driven Popcornmeter landed at a 78%. Does ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ Have a Streaming Release Date Yet?

Paramounthas yet to announce whenMission: Impossible - The Final Reckoningwill begin streaming. The film will likely play exclusively in theaters for at least four or five more weeks before it also becomes available for rent or purchase on VOD platforms such asPrime Videoand Fandango at Home. It will then likely be another month or more before the studio puts the film onParamount+.
