FinallyAvengers: Endgameis almost upon us. We will all see very soon howJoe RussoandAnthony Russowill land this 22nd MCU film in a way that satisfies the fans who have gone along on this 21 movie journey. The excitement and dread for what will happen to the Avengers is at an all-time high after the recent trailers and TV spots. Fans are also wondering what the end result will be for the villain of the piece, Thanos. The Mad Titan captured the attention of the MCU fans first in 2011’sThorand kept their attention with his overwhelming size, ferocious look, and impressive battle armor. Not to mentionJosh Brolin’s incredible performance in the role.
The purple warrior came out from the galactic shadows to take center stage inAvengers: Infinity Warand dusted half the galaxy leaving many of us emotional wrecks. I still haven’t recovered from that Peter Parker/Spider-Man death yet! Iron Studios recognized the impact Thanos has had on the MCU and its fans. They heard the call from the fans who were looking for unique figures and collectibles to commemorate the release of this much anticipated film. As a result, they are releasing limited editions of three characters that look to figure prominently inAvengers: Endgame –Nebula, Ronin, and Thanos himself. The design of the characters has been taken from scenes in the upcoming movie, but I will not spoil here where or when they occur.
Iron Studios will make the Thanos figure available for pre-order tomorrow. There will be two versions of the figure, the regular version and the deluxe version. The art scale on both of the items is 1/10. They are both hand painted pieces made in polystone. The product dimensions for both are 14.1 in (H) x 5.5 in (W) x 10.2 in (L) with the weight of each version being 4.4lbs. However, the deluxe version will include an LED light up Infinity Gauntlet and an interchangeable left arm and head. Iron Studios has made this Thanos figure available for pre-order today. The regular version will retail for $149.99 with the deluxe version being listed at $199.99.
