With a tenure dating back more than 13 years, Jeremy Renner has certainly left his mark on the MCU enough to say that the franchise would not be the same without him. The firstAvengersmovie saw him join forces with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) after Loki uses his mind stone-infused staff to take away his free will. He was also instrumental in recruiting Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) to the Avengers inAge of Ultron, and he helped her break out of the Avengers compound inCaptain America: Civil War. The Avengers were missing Hawkeye inInfinity War, and while he likely wouldn’t have moved the needle against Thanos (Josh Brolin), his return inEndgamecertainly helped propel the team to victory.Hawkeyealso introduced Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), who is poised to be a member of the MCU’s Young Avengers going forward.
