Netflix has just announced thatTerminator Zero, a new animated series set within theTerminatoruniverse, will premiere globally on June 03, 2025.Terminator Zerois created and executive produced byMattson Tomlin, known for his work onProject Powerand the upcomingThe Batman II.Skydance’sDavid Ellison,Dana Goldberg, andDon Grangerwill also serve as executive producers, with Production IG Studios handling the animation under the direction ofMasashi Kudo. The story ofTerminator Zeroalternates between two timelines: 1997 and 2022. In 1997, the AI known as Skynet achieves self-awareness and initiates a war against humanity.
