Hot on the heels ofDeadpool’s opening weekend success is a statement from Simon Kinberg that another beloved franchise could get the big-screen treatment as an R-rated movie. Speaking at a Q&A after an exclusive Collider IMAX screening ofDeadpool, Kinbergdropped some hints about anX-Forceflick.
One of the properties hoping to make a resurgence in the modern world of comic book blockbuster films isSpawn…and according to writer Todd McFarlane, fans may finally get the movie version they’ve always wanted.McFarlane offered an updatewhile at Toy Fair 2016, stating that he’s finished the script and the movie would be rated R.
