Based onSpider-Man: The Animated Series,Mondo’s latest figure in their ⅙ scale collection is Carnage. The psychopathic serial killer comes with a ton of menacing accessories. This includes four additional heads (two scary Cletus Kasady heads), two sets of extra hands, a shield, an axe, and a scythe. There’s also extra symbiote tendrils to put on Carnage. The figure stands at 13-inches tall and will be $245 USD. Mondo will be selling anadditionalThe Amazing Spider-Man#361 red foil posteras well, which sees Carnage taking on the Wall Crawler in his first full appearance. This will be $65.
Let There Be Carnage
While Venom will always be the most popular symbiote character in theSpider-Manuniverse, Carnage’s uniquely dark backstory and blood-red design can’t be matched.After debuting in 1992, the murder-happy villain would make his TV debut inSpider-Man: The Animated Series. He would also appear inUltimate Spider-Manand countless video games, includingUltimate Spider-Man(2005),Marvel’s Ultimate Alliance 2,Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions,andThe Amazing Spider-Man 2(2014).
That being said, the character’s biggest appearance outside the comics was in the 2021 film,Venom: Let There Be Carnage. After making a cameo appearance inVenom,Woody Harrelsonreprized his deadly role to battle it out withTom Hardy’s Eddie Brock. While not as financially successful as the first blockbuster, the sequel managed to still make over $500 million worldwide, resulting in the third and final film in thetrilogy, 2024’sVenom: The Last Dance, being made.
